Richard Berry - Cook
Born and raised in South Texas, Richard developed an interest in cooking early on. After graduation from Texas A&M Univ., Kingsville, he traveled the state as a working cowboy on the King Ranch, TicTacToe, L Bar, 77, and SA Bar ranches. During a career as a cowboy/ranch manager, he continued to hone his skills as a chef, developing his culinary ability and recipes to cater to an ever growing demand for his services. These recipes have satisfied even the most discriminating politicians, celebrities, professional athletes, ranch gatherings, family and friends. Today, Richard and his wife, Renee, own and operate Broken Spoke Cattle Company in Live Oak County, featuring crossbred cattle and a 27 year commitment to wildlife management and conservation.
