Yturria's La Chata Hunting Lodge

La Chata hunting camp, similar to Punta del Monte, mimics an African style hunting camp sprinkled with South Texas flavor. This camp is carved out of the landscape and it comprised of 4 private chalets, large bunk house, and separate dining facility. Each chalet is air conditioned with double occupancy arrangement and private bath facility. The fire ring will serve as an evening focal point to enjoy a sundowner while the resident chef grills your ribeye to your liking. La Chata hunting camp is 5 miles north of Raymondville and commercial flights should be scheduled in and out of Harlingen, only 30 minutes away. In addition to Punta del Monte, nilgai and other exotic hunts take place from this camp.
